About The LowT Clinic
The LowT Clinic was founded out of a sincere desire to help men live their best lives physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our practice philosophy is to incorporate Evidenced-Based Practice (EBP) with an Upstream approach to health and wellness.
So, what does this mean to you?
We comb through evidence-based research and clinical studies to identify “Gold Standard Practices” in healthcare and deliver them to you as your providers.
How We Operate
We do this through an “Upstream Approach,” which is the philosophy and practice of preventative medicine to curb and even arrest the development of chronic conditions. An easier way to think about this is the notion that Upstream healthcare is any health intervention that stems from a philosophy rooted in one simple question: “What would it take for this problem to never happen again?”
What Sets Us Apart From Other Hormone Replacement Therapies?
We are, first and foremost, a medical clinic that understands that the root cause of many problems in aging men is related to diminishing testosterone levels. But it is not as simple as a shot, cream, or pill to reverse the process of low testosterone (LowT) levels in men. Our bodies are a complex system of feedback loops and regulatory systems that allow us to secrete the hormones necessary for optimal health and wellness. There is a multitude of factors that can rob our bodies of the natural testosterone we make. Our body produces Cortisol, Estradiol, Sex Hormone Binding Globulin and albumin, all of which have a high affinity for impacting free testosterone, rendering it virtually unavailable to the body. Approximately 98% of total testosterone is bound as it circulates through the body.
The great news is that we closely monitor these other proteins and hormones that rob you of your testosterone to allow that bioavailable testosterone to convert to FREE TESTOSTERONE.
FREE TESTOSTERONE is the bioavailable hormone that gives us the unique male characteristics that make us, us. It is responsible for increased lean muscle mass, weight loss, improved libido and sex drive, improved mental awareness and acuity, and improved sleep hygiene.
