What Is LowT?

LowT means low testosterone. Testosterone is a natural hormone that is responsible for the regular growth and development of specific male organs. It also helps maintain certain muscular traits. Men produce testosterone in the testes (the reproductive glands that also produce sperm). The hypothalamus and pituitary gland regulate testosterone levels. When a man has low testosterone levels, he can experience a number of symptoms, including a decrease in energy, low libido, increased body fat, and fluctuating emotional changes.

Is Low Testosterone Common?

Unfortunately, there is limited research data that identifies the prominence of low T levels in males. We do, however, know that the condition is vastly more common as men age. We estimate that upwards of 40% of older men experience low testosterone levels. As this is a natural occurrence, we focus on improving your testosterone levels to help increase your energy levels, libido, and improve weight loss and growing lean muscle mass. While many men can be nervous to ask about low T levels, it’s increasingly common. Symptoms differ from patient to patient. They can include a decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, heart disease, and more. Seek help early to help minimize symptoms and live a happy and healthy life!
